  • What is CBD?
CBD is cannabidiol, a compound found in the hemp and cannabis plants. CBD does not have neuroactive properties, meaning it will not get you high.
  • What is THC?
THC is tetrahydrocannabidiol, the psychoactive component of the cannabis plant so it can make you high. THC along with CBD produces and entourage effect, meaning the two work synergistically to produce certain effects. With proper balance, it is possible to add THC to your regime without getting high.
  • Do I need a medical card to purchase CBD?
You do not need a card to purchase CBD from hemp that contains less than .03% THC. It is sold legally throughout most of the US, but it is not regulated. It is extremely important to purchase a high-quality CBD product that has been tested to make sure there are no impurities and that the product actually contains CBD. Many products found online and in stores are mislabeled and some contain no CBD at all. In some states, you DO need a card to purchase other medical cannabis products, including non-hemp CBD. If you live in a state that sells products for adult use, I can teach you the differences between adult use and medical use.
